GREAT first sewing project…SUPER SIMPLE SACKS!

These sacks are SUPER SIMPLE to make!

SUPER SIMPLE SACKS easily rival the traditional pillowcase for a

GREAT FIRST TIME  SEWING PROJECT...

They are just that easy to construct.

If you take into account the "FUN FACTOR" they easily beat out the pillowcase.

(OK, I AM BIAS...I never made the first project pillowcase...)

Here is what I DO KNOW…

You can construct one of these with 6 seams. Half of those seams are just tacking things in place...a loop, a tie and securing the bottom flaps down (which is optional).

SUPER EASY!

The next thing I KNOW is that they are EXTREMELY USEFUL!

We have a couple of them which technically live on a shelf in our living room but which occasionally float around our living room and through the house.  They are full of power cords and electronic paraphernalia like mice and ear buds.  I love that those items have a good-looking home that conceals and contains them well, AND we know where to look to find them.

They make really good storage/organizers.

You might keep one in the car with a few toys or put a sack of makeup together to throw in your purse when you need it.

My husband likes to pack in stuff sacks. These make GREAT STUFF SACKS...socks in one, underwear in another, shaving kit...you get the picture.

Denim has historically been made out of 100% cotton.  That has changed some now, but cotton still remains a major fiber in most denim of today. I make homemade soap and the breathability of denim because of the cotton in these sacks make them wonderful for storing my soaps.

(If this is important to you, check the your tags for fabric content.)

I like re-purposing items so I really like using them for GIFT BAGS which can then be used again and again.

Imagine a sack folded down stuffed with colorful grass and fill with candy and treats... or a mug with several varieties of hot chocolate and a candy cane tied in the bow

FUN! FUN! FUN!

They’re simple & straight forward and may easily become a favorite project.
